  • Bohemian Rhapsody Rtn. Shriprakash, Rotary Club of Madras South attended our Business meeting held on 10th Nov and presented us about the fund raiser which they are planning “Bohemian Rhapsody” to be part of it. As a Joint sponsorship project we had decided to support the fund raiser. We had good publicity along with the event sponsors. We had contributed Rs. 80,000 for the Bohemian Rhapsody. Special thanks to Raj Waterscape Properties Pvt Ltd, Tr. George, Tr. Alok, Tr. Amrith and Tr. Mahesh for their support towards this project.












    Report on Inauguration of RO Plant

    Madras Midtown Round Table – 42 along with Rotary Club of Madras South has provided a RO plant at the Panchayat Union Primary School at Iyyappanthangal. It was a prestigious moment of seeing both the organisation getting together and creating history in implementing a joint project in the school.

    This RO Plant costs Rs 2.5 lakhs. Through this plant we will get 150 LPH. More than 350 students and teachers of the Primary School were benefited through this project. Also the adjacent High School children were also benefited.

    On 24th February 2015 at 11 AM, this Plant was inaugurated by Rtn. I.S.A.K. Nazar, District Governor of RI Dist 3230 in the presence of Tr. Suman Voora, National Vice President and Tr. Shriram Duvvrri, Area Chairman, Area-2.

    Panchayath Leader Mr. Dakshinamurthy & PTA (Parents Teachers Association) members and Local leaders were also graced this occasion. The wastage water extracted from the RO plant is being stored in the overhead tank which will be utilised for the toilets.

    As a follow-up activity, 5 students were selected as volunteers to monitor the effective usage of the drinking water and its maintenance which will be reportedly to the school administration periodically and thereby inculcating accountability and responsibility among the future generations. The students were also encouraged by assuring gifts if the reports of the RO plant are being monitored regularly.
